BELLARY: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) extended its "Akshaya patra" (midday meal scheme) to 15 government primary schools in Bellary district from Thursday. The scheme is being implemented in some schools in Hadagali town in Bellary district. Krishna Das, coordinator of "Akshaya Patra", Hubli division, said it had been proposed to cover Bellary, Sandur and Hospet taluks soon.
