VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) will identify and sponsor promising sportspersons, VSP Director (Personnel) K.A. Naidu said at Ukku Stadium on Thursday.

Delivering the valedictory address on conclusion of the three-week summer coaching camp organised by the VSP Sports Council, he said there was every need to provide a playground in each sector of the Steel Township.

CISF Commandant A.S. Chelladurai urged the VSP management to conduct at least one event in Ukkunagaram to encourage children. General Manager and chairman of the VSP Sports Council G.B.S.
