HUBLI: Members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Bharatiya Janata Party took out a protest march here on Thursday in protest against the terrorists' attack on the RSS headquarters in Nagpur. They blamed the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government for the attack. The appeasement policy followed by the Union Government and the Maharashtra Government with regard to the Muslim community had led to the attack, they alleged. Successive governments had failed to initiate strict measures against Muslim fundamentalists and terrorists, as a result of which attacks on Hindu religious centres were on the rise, they said. The march, which began from Kittur Channamma Circle, concluded at the office of the Hubli tahsildar. Leaders of VHP, RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP condemned the incident. A memorandum addressed to the Governor was submitted to the tahsildar. Meanwhile, Pramod Mutalik, president of Rashtriya Hindu Sena, Karnataka, has condemned the incident. In a release here on Thursday, he appealed to all parties to stop appeasing Muslim voters.
