TRAI for delicensing of frequency

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended to the Department of Telecommunications the delicensing of the frequency 5.150-5.350 and 5.725-5.785 GHz for outdoor usage and identification of additional spectrum not in high usage for the provision and popularisation of broadband services.
