MA in Media Arts in Tamil launched in two colleges under Madras University

CHENNAI:
A Master of Arts programme in Media Arts in Tamil is being launched in two colleges under the University of Madras from the academic year 2006-`07.
The two-year postgraduate course, spread over four semesters, will be offered by Loyola College and Agarsen College, Madhavaram.
The course is a combination of visual communication and mass communication, and enables candidates to specialise in journalism, advertising and cinematography.
One semester is devoted to project work.
The fee is Rs.13,500 a year.
