Southern Railway to run special trains

CHENNAI:
Southern Railway will operate following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil specials: Train no. 0611 will leave Egmore at 11.15 p.m. on June 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 and reach Nagercoil at 2 p.m. the next day. In the return direction train no. 0612 will leave Nagercoil at 7.30 p.m. on June 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and arrive Egmore at 9.15 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Mambalam, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchi, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi and Tirunelveli.
The composition of the trains will be one AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
Chennai Central - Bangalore special: Train no. 0681 will leave central at 9.30 p.m. on June 3 and reach Bangalore at 5.15 a.m. the next day.
The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 10 sleeper class, 5 general second class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. It will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Ambur, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment. Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on June 2, according to a railway release.
