Eye camp

CHENNAI: Chennai Corporation and Chennai District Eye Sight Loss Prevention Association will hold an eye camp on Saturday to coincide with Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's birthday celebrations. Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the camp at the Corporation Girls' High School in Nungambakk-am.

A release said free cataract surgery would be performed for the needy at the Government Ophthalmic Hospital in Egmore. Free spectacles would be provided to students having eye problems.

Central and State Ministers are expected to participate. The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
