Literacy House to

hold workshop

A workshop on `responsibility of the parent/teacher towards today's child' will be organised under the aegis of Literacy House, Andhra Mahila Sabha, on June 17.

The workshop will discuss various problems and possible solutions and sensitise teachers and parents to guide and help children build up their career in the right way, according to its secretary B. Subbarayan.

Yoga teacher

training camp

A three-month yoga teacher training camp will be conducted at the Sarojini Academy in Bagh Lingampally near Padmashali Kalyana Mandapam from June 3 between 5.30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Collector's directive

Collector R.V. Chandravadan has instructed his staff to ensure that the identified 28,000 children in the age group of 5-14 are sent back to schools during the current `Badi baata' programme. He was launching the programme at Dhanalaksmipura primary school in Golconda mandal on Thursday.
