Teenagers make it big

The week belonged to the teenagers indeed. If students from the city did exceedingly well in entrance exams, yet another teen sensation from the city burst onto the international scene by her stunning performance in Philippines Open badminton tournament.

Sixteen-year-old Saina Nehwal trained by Pullela Gopichand became the first Indian woman player to win four-star badminton tournament. With youth bagging laurels in academics and sports, can one ask for more?
