Andhra Pradesh golden jubilee issue released

HYDERABAD : Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has highlighted the strong bond between Telangana and Andhra regions of the State recalling the speeches of the first Chief Minister of the integrated State Neelam Sanjiva Reddy.

Releasing the golden jubilee issue of the Government-run Andhra Pradesh magazine here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said a united Andhra Pradesh had retained its pre-eminence in the last five decades. In defence of his argument, he read out certain passages from the radio speeches of Sanjiva Reddy published in the first issue of the magazine and which highlight the greatness of united Andhra Pradesh.

Contribution lauded

The Chief Minister lauded the contribution of the magazine in taking the welfare programmes launched by the Government to people.
