KOZHIKODE: The Department of Mechancial Engineering of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) will organise an all-India workshop on `Coordinate Measuring Machines and Computer Aided Inspection (CMM)' in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers (India) Calicut Local Centre from June 14 to 16 on the NIT-C campus, near Kozhikode. Talking to reporters here on Thursday, Jose Mathew and P.B. Dhanish, coordinators of the workshop, said the workshop would highlight the latest developments in metrology and computer-aided inspection. Noted scientists; Mustafizur Rahman, professor, National University of Singapore, an expert in micro-nano fabrication and metrology; N. Ramakrishnan, professor, IIT Mumbai, an expert in micro-metrology; V.K. Suri, head, precision engineering, BARC Mumbai, an expert in nano technology and nano engineering metrology; and A.
