Staff Reporter

KOCHI: Southern Railway has announced restoration of some of the train services up to Ernakulam. These trains are Guruvayur-Ernakulam Passenger (Train No. 301), Ernakulam- Guruvayur Passenger (Train No. 306), Kottayam-Ernakulam Passenger (Train No. 342), Ernakulam-Kottayam Passenger (Train No. 345), Ernakulam-Alleppey Passenger (Train No. 331) and Alleppey-Ernakulam Passenger (Train No. 338).

It was earlier announced that these trains would stop at Aluva, Thrippunithura or Kumbalam, according to the direction to which the service operates, owing to the engineering work related to the doubling of Ernakulam-Mulanthuruthy line.

However, train no. 302/305 Ernakulam-Guruvayur-Ernakulam passenger trains will run from and up to Aluva till June 6, said a press release issued by the Railway.
