Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been active over coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Lakshadweep and coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala and south interior Karnataka and at a few places over north interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Telangana. Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema.

Forecast (valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala, Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka and at a few places over north interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Karnataka during next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the same period.
