Woman succumbs to injuries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sathyabhama, 70, a resident of Pangode, died on Friday evening after she fell down from a motorcycle on which she was pillion riding near Aristo Junction. She died at Medical College Hospital here.

Youth drowned

Gibin, 17, Class IX student of St. Joseph School, Poonthura, drowned at the Thiruvallam lake on Friday evening after he went to bath in the lake along with his friends at 6 p.m. A team comprising Fire and Rescue Service personnel, police personnel and the local people fished out Gibin's body from the lake.
