Munde: only Rahul can tell

It is not proper to say what the reason behind this was: Gopinath Munde

New Delhi: Shell-shocked by the incident involving his nephew Rahul Mahajan, Maharashtra BJP Legislature Party leader Gopinath Munde said on Friday it was too early to link the incident with the killing of his brother-in-law Pramod Mahajan by his younger brother Praveen.

Mr. Munde, who arrived here from Nagpur, said: "It is not proper to say what the reason behind this was. Now that Bibek Moitra is no more, only Rahul would be able to say what happened after he regains consciousness," Mr. Munde said when asked whether there was any link between the two incidents.

Mr. Munde said the family was going through a bad patch as it was yet to recover from the senior BJP leader's death a month ago. — PTI
