Kochi: Sebastian Paul, MP, will inaugurate a seminar on the occasion of World Environment Day on Monday at the District Panchayat Hall, Kakkanad. K. Babu, MLA, will be the chief guest. The seminar is being jointly organised by the Forest Department and the Ernakulam District Panchayat. — Staff Reporter

Thought leadership programme

Kochi: A thought leadership programme on `Sustainable development of greater Cochin and environmental concerns' will be organised here on Monday as part of the World Environment Day celebrations. The programme is being organised by the School of Environment Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology. The seminar will be inaugurated at the conference hall of the school at 9 a.m. — Staff Reporter
