Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A 42-year-old garment factory employee was hit by three persons when he tried to foil an attempt to burgle his house at BEML Layout in Varthur police station limits early on Saturday.

According to the police the three persons broke open the main door of Swaminathan's house. Hearing the sound, Swaminathan, who was sleeping in the bedroom came out, tried to stop the miscreants and also alerted the neighbours.
