Rain lashes city

BANGALORE: Movement of traffic was affected in several areas here on Saturday following heavy rain. While the rainfall was 10.8 mm. in the city it was 29.2 mm. at the airport.

Because of waterlogging the movement of vehicles slowed down on several roads, including Mahatma Gandhi Road, Hosur Road and Old Madras Road. There were no reports of water entering houses in low-lying areas.
