Ban on processions,

rallies

The Hyderabad police have prohibited holding of public meetings and taking out of processions without prior permission from June 3 to 9. Usage of public address systems around the Secretariat was also banned during the same period, according to a press release.

Meditation classes

Free training classes in Pranahuti Aided Meditation will be held at Imperience, East Marredpally, on June 10 and 11. More details can be had on phone number: 27731223 - between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., on or before June 8.

Defence exhibition

A two-day defence exhibition will be organised at Parade Grounds on June 9 and 10.

The exhibition would have exciting air display by Surya Kiran aircrafts, sky diving, motorcycle display by `Dare Devils', dog show, horse show, military band display and torch display.

The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 4.30 to 7 p.m. on both days. Air show would be held only during the morning sessions.

Appeal to public

Defence authorities have appealed to the citizens of the twin cities not to throw eatables and garbage in the open from June 6 to 10 for the safety of aircrafts flying at low height as part of defence exhibition.

Harmony camp

The valedictory of 16th annual summer camp for communal harmony 2006 will be held at VDP High School, Lal Darwaja, on Sunday. As many as 12 summer camps were organised in the Old City during May by Youth Trac - COVA - in collaboration with the city police and INTACH-AP chapter.
