Continuing Dental Education programme

Pondicherry: The Pondicherry branch of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) conducted on Sunday a one-day Continuing Dental Education Programme. The vice president of the Tamil Nadu branch of IDA

Dr. Sivakumar inaugurated it. The president of the Association's Pondicherry branch Dr V Arun Prasad Rao welcomed those present. Among those who addressed the participants included the secretary of the association here Dr C Ravishankar.

Dr Carounanidy Usha, Professor Dr R Sathyanarayanan,

Dr. K.Manikandan of Rajah Muthiah Dental College and Hospital and Dr Mathan Rajan of Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital Porur Chennai spoke on different themes. They dealt with latest development in the field of dentistry.

A release from the Association said that around forty delegates participated in the continuing education programme. Hepatitits B vaccination camp for dental surgeons was held.
