NEW DELHI: A fluent 76 by Gautam Gambhir piloted Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to a four-wicket victory over Air India, Mumbai, in the final of the 33rd all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial cricket tournament at the Khalsa College ground here on Sunday. Mithun Manhas was adjudged the `man of the tournament,' while Rameez Nemat, Suhail Sharma and Joginder Sharma were declared the best batsman, bowler and all-rounder respectively. The scores: Air India, Mumbai, 213 for eight in 40 overs (Praveen Kumar 45, Rameez Nemat 45) lost to ONGC 216 for six in 37.4 overs (Gautam Gambhir 76, Mohammed Saif 40 n.o.).
