Dacoits stab two women to death

NIZAMABAD : Two women were stabbed to death by a dacoit gang at Kanteshwara colony in Nizamabad town in the early hours of Sunday. Another person was injured in the attack.

According to the police, six dacoits gained entry into the house of Balamani, 57, and Lakshmi,60, by breaking open the latch. When the two women raised alarm after hearing the noise, the gang members stabbed them to death. When their neighbour Laxman came to their rescue and tried to catch hold of a dacoit, he was bitten. Later, the gang members fled the scene. No valuables were taken away from the house.

The injured person was admitted to hospital. Williams, DSP, visited the spot.
