Gulbarga: Those of the national leaders of the Janata Dal (Secular) opposed to the formation of the coalition Government with the BJP in the State have invited some of the AIPJD leaders to a meeting they have convened in Mumbai on June 8 and 9. The initiative for holding the meeting has been taken by Surendra Mohan and party MP from Kerala M.P. Veerendra Kumar. One of those invited to the meeting is the suspended JD (S) MLA B.R. Patil who has joined the AIPJD. According to Mr. Patil, the Mumbai meeting is likely to discuss the various actions of party president H.D. Deve Gowda and his role in the formation of the coalition Government.Mr. Patil told presspersons here on Sunday that the meeting would decide on expelling Mr. Deve Gowda from the party. Asked whether the former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had been invited, Mr. Patil said that he was unaware of it.
