Nalanda Cyber Tourney

Vijayawada Sub-Collector Ch. Bhanu Prasad on Sunday said that computer games would help children develop interest over computer education. He inaugurated `Nalanda Cyber Tourney' organised by the alumni of Nalanda Vidyaniketan here. Correspondent of Nalanda Educational Institutions A. Vijaya Babu and others were present.

Death anniversary

Members of the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) in Singhnagar zone on Sunday recalled the services of the late Manikonda Suryavathi, one of the founder members of the AIDWA. The members observed the 13th death anniversary of Suryavathi. Assistant secretary of the AIDWA city zone M. Satyavathi recalled that Suryavathi was elected twice to the Assembly. Singhnagar zone convener P. Pitchamma was present.
