Shaurya Singh cards the day's best

Bangalore: Shaurya Singh of Delhi carded the day's best of four-under 66 in the South India Amateur golf championship, which commenced at the Bangalore Golf Club Course here on Tuesday.

Singh, had an eagle on the eighth hole besides birdies on the 10th, 14th and the 18th holes. The 21-year-old's lone bogey came on the par-3 third hole.

Delhi's Chiragh Kumar and Gaganjeet Bhullar shared the second spot. The duo shot an identical 68. Trailing them were Chandigarh's H.S. Kang and Secunderabad's Anirban Lahiri who shot 69 each.
