Venkatasubba Reddiar remembered

Pondicherry: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and his cabinet colleagues, the legislators of the ruling Congress, the PCC president P. Shanmugham, the Pattali Makkal Katchi Parliamentary party leader M.Ramadoss, Speaker of Pondicherry Assembly R. Radhakrishnan, former Speaker M D R. Ramachandran, freedom fighters were among those who paid homage at the statue of former Chief Minister of Pondicherry V. Venkatasubba Reddiar on the occasion of his 24th death anniversary here on Tuesday.

Reddiar was the Chief Minister of Pondicherry from 1964 to 1968. He was also Mayor of the Nettapakkam Commune panchayat besides being the president of the PCC for nearly 20 years.
