Ace Micromatic group's plans
CHENNAI:
Ace Micromatic group, a leading machine tool group, will be setting up a technical training centre in Chennai. The group has already established two such centres, one each in Pune and Delhi. Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, T. K. Ramesh, Vice President, Micromatic Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd., (a member of the group), said the group had sold 2,000 CNC machines in 2005-06. For the current year, it has set a target to sell 3,000 machines. The group was already exporting CNC machines to Australia, France, Germany, Italy and the U.S. It was setting up marketing offices in China and Thailand. In 2005-06 the group achieved a turnover of Rs. 490 crore and the target has been fixed at Rs. 600 crore for the current year.
