VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) will auction vacant commercial and residential plots, flats and independent houses and odd bits in its layouts within Visakhaptnam Metropolitan Region limits in four spells on July 8, 9, 16 and August 6. About 200 plots, flats and odd bits will be sold through auction, of which, 53 plots and odd bits are in Madhurawada, 25 in Kapuluppada layouts, 45 in Kurmannapalem, 26 in Kanapaka Ayyannapeta and 11 Babametta layouts of Vizianagaram, few more in Lakeview layout (Madhurawada), Anakapalle, Kurmannapalem and Sagarngar areas and 10 commercial plots at Kurmannapalem. VUDA will also sell 19 houses and flats in Kurmannapalem phase-III and V, Sagarnagar, MVP Colony, Anakapalle and Kanapaka Ayyannapeta. The auction will be held at VUDA children theatre. For the plots and houses in Vizianagaram, auction will be conducted at Anand Gajapathi Raju auditorium. Application-cum-booklets will be issued from June 8 at the reception-cum-information centre in the VUDA office, Siripuram on payment of Rs. 250 each. Those who want to obtain it by post should submit bank DD for Rs. 300 drawn in favour of Vice-Chairman, VUDA.
