NEW DELHI: Sponsored by the Delhi Veteran Football Club (DVFC), Hem Chand, a dedicated official from the Capital, has brought out an attractive soccer diary to mark the mega event to be held in Germany from June 9. Having produced similar diaries to celebrate the World Cup in 1998 and 2002, Hem Chand has improved upon the content for this edition, which was released at a simple function by Minister of State for Home Affairs Manik Rao Gavit here on Tuesday. The diary is a compilation of the history of the World Cup with various sections dedicated to highlight the key moments of the game. "The diary will give you a comprehensive account of the history of the World Cup and details of all the 32 participating teams and other Cup related trivia," said Hem Chand. The diary provides information on each coach apart from details of every player with his shirt number. To mark the occasion, the DVFC also honoured former internationals Ranjit Thapa, Aziz Quereshi, Tarun Roy, Arunesh Sharma and Anadi Barua for their contribution to the game. Special Correspondent
