KARIMNAGAR : Union Minister of State for Rural Development and TRS leader A. Narendra has said the party has not taken any decision on forging an alliance with the Congress for the ensuing local body elections. He, however, said on Tuesday they the party was eliciting opinion of the party's rank and file by conducting district-level meetings on the issue. "We are not for alliance with any party. But, the Congress itself is showing interest for tie-up with the TRS,'' he maintained. Talking to newsmen here, Mr. Narendra said: "we will go it alone if the party cadre forces us to do so.'' To a query, he said: "there is no deadline for the formation of Telangana State. We have confidence in AICC president Sonia Gandhi."
