New Joint Collector for East Godavari district

Rajahmundry: Rajahmundry Municipal Commissioner C. Sudarshan Reddy has been promoted and posted as Joint Collector of East Godavari district in place of Dana Kishore, who has been posted as Collector, Kurnool.

However, with no one appointed as new Commissioner, Sub-Collector K. Sasidhar will act as in-charge Commissioner for the time being.

Mr. Sudarshan Reddy who belong to the 2002 IAS batch worked as trainee in Khammam district. Then he got posting as Sub-Collector of Paderu in Visakhapatnam district and was posted to Rajahmundry last December.

Mayor M.S. Chakravarthi and Corporators of all parties met Mr. Sudarshan Reddy and congratulated him. AP Paper Mills President P.K. Soori and Chief Medical Officer R. Rajendra Prasad also congratulated Mr. Reddy.
