KARIMNAGAR: The traffic advisory committee, which is headed by Superintendent of Police D. S. Chauhan, has chalked out a strategy to check road accidents by at least 20 per cent during this year. The traffic advisory committee meeting was held here on Tuesday. The SP, RTA authorities, R&B engineers, doctors, police authorities and others participated in the meeting. Briefing newsmen about the deliberations, the SP said it was decided to take measures to reduce road accidents by 20 per cent during this year. It was decided to constitute a three-member committee to check reasons for accidents at various accident-prone areas and take appropriate measures. The highway patrolling vehicles would be also equipped with necessary medical aids.
