ONGOLE: Fire ravaged two electronic shops in the Bapuji market complex here on Tuesday causing an estimated loss of Rs. 5 lakhs. It is stated that the fire occurred due to short-circuit in Sri Balaji television showroom and Krishna electronics at about 10 a.m. Fire tenders rushed to the place and brought the flames under control. It became an ordeal for the shopkeepers to retrieve the television sets fighting against thick smoke that filled the two shops.
