Vijayawada: The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation has ordered closure of a few shops in the 25th division in Governorpet area after it found that the owners had failed to pay the licence fee or get the licence renewed. Following instructions by the VMC Commissioner, a team of sanitary inspectors including S.V. Subbarao M. Venkateswarlu, G. Ramamohan Rao, R. Dharma Reddy and D. Somaraju, visited the place and put a seal on a few tours and travel agencies, S.T.D booths and tyre shops on Monday and Tuesday.
