HUDA to examine land owners' plea

The plea of about 500 persons who would lose open plots in HUDA layouts under the land acquisition for Outer Ring Project will be discussed by HUDA Board in its meeting on Wednesday.

While it was decided to give house sites of 250 sq. yards in rehabilitation colonies to those losing houses, no decision was taken yet on those who will lose open plots.

French classes

Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad will begin another batch of intensive classes on June 12 and a weekend batch on June 24. The timeslot between 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. is available, according to a press release. Enrolments are on at the centre in West Marredpally (Ph. 27700734 or 27700736).

Award for dancer

Dancer and choreographer Ananda Shankar Jayant has been selected for the award and title of `Nritya Choodamani' by Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai. She will receive the award in December at the 51st Art and Dance Festival of the Sabha.
