VISAKHAPATNAM: The second in the series of workshops for EAMCET qualified candidates being organised by The Hindu Education Plus will be held at the Kalabharathi auditorium, here on Wednesday. The workshop whose main sponsor is Nalanda Educational Institutions and regional sponsor the Indian Bank, will be held in two sessions: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for candidates belonging to the engineering stream and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the medical stream students. A team of experts will clarify the doubts of the students regarding the prospects of various branches, the availability of seats, changing to a different branch at a later date and so on.Andhra University Vice Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy will be the chief guest at the inaugural function. The Head of the Computer Science Department AU College of Engineering P.S. Avadhani, the Head of the Biotechnology Department of Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Science (Sangivalasa) K. Balakrishnan, the Chairman of Raghu Engineering College (Bheemunipatnam) K. Raghu, Architect G. Sreenivasa Murthy and Dr. Babu Rao of Navayuga Infotech (Hyderabad) will address the students in the morning session. In the afternoon session, K. Umamaheswara Rao, Vice-Principal, Andhra Medical College, Prof. K.V. Ramana Murthy of the AU Department of Pharmacy, and Dr. Subramaniam, Principal, Vishnu Dental College will clarify the doubts of aspirants for the medical stream. Limited spot registration for attending the sessions--9 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. for engineering stream and 1 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. for medical stream -- will be allowed.
