VIJAYAWADA: The Anti-Goonda Squad (AGS) police arrested five minor girls, three women and five men late on Monday on the charge of indulging in immoral trafficking and handed them over to the Machavaram, Satyanarayanapuram and Payakapuram police on Tuesday. Following a tip-off, the AGS personnel simultaneously raided three houses in Moghalrajapuram, Satyanarayanapuram and Payakapuram on Monday night and caught the girls, women and men. The police charged R. Pandu of Rajeev Nagar, P. Srinu of Mangalagiri, P. Satyanarayana of Payakapuram, D. Ramesh of Singh Nagar, M. Haribabu of Chuttugunta and a woman from Ramakrishnapuram in the city with forcing minor girls and women into prostitution.
