Sanitation project launched

Thiruvananthapuram: The Capital City Clean City programme launched by the City Corporation took off in the Palayam health circle on Tuesday. The ward councillor Aysha Baker inaugurated the cleaning activities at a function organised by the Palayam Citizens Council. The project resource person A. Dharna staged to ban `The Da Vinci Code'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The activists of `Spirit in Jesus' organised a State-wide dharana on Tuesday demanding a ban on the screening of the film `The Da Vinci Code.'The dharna was held in front of the martyr's square at Palayam. In a release here, the members of the front stated that a memorandum demanding a ban on the film had been submitted to Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan and Minister for Cultural Affairs M.A. Baby.
