Skies to be cloudy for two more days

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Bangaloreans can expect cloudy weather and thundershowers in the evenings in the next two days, according to the Indian Metereological Department (IMD), Bangalore.

Day temperatures are expected to hover around 30 degrees while night temperatures would be 20 degrees, the IMD said. Not yet time for woollens but certainly for rainwear.

The sudden change in weather, seen in rising day temperatures, is due to the weak activity of the monsoon, said Anand L. Koppar, Director of the IMD. Earlier, the monsoon was vigorous and active which is the reason Bangalore experienced intermediate spells of rain, he said.
