London: Nalinikant Tribhovandas Pandya, freedom fighter and prominent leader of the Indian community in Britain has died after a stroke, sources in the family said.
Racial relations
Pandya, 90, Vice Chairman of the Brent Community Relations Council, played a major role in promoting good racial relations. He founded the Federation of Gujarati Association and established England's first Sardar Patel Memorial Committee. He participated in the freedom struggle with Patel. PTI
