Good placement record at Labour Studies institute

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Labour Studies Institute, an autonomous society functioning under the State Labour Department, has shown a good placement record for the current academic year, a press release here said.

Top companies such as TCL, Apollo Hospitals, TVS Logistics, Larsen & Toubro and TAFE conducted campus recruitment drives and ten students from the II year M.A (Labour Management) course and ten students from the III B.A. (Labour Management) course have been issued appointment letters by the recruiters.

Five students are awaiting orders, the release added.

The institute conducts B.A. and M.A. courses in Labour Management (both affiliated to the University of Madras) and a PG Diploma in Labour Administration (Evening Course). Admissions for this year will close on June 30.
