Two RBI departments get BS certification
CHENNAI:
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the latest to join the certification bandwagon. Two departments of the apex bank have just landed the prestigious British Standard of Information Security BS7799: 2002 (2). With this certification, RBI forms part of a select club of central banks across the globe, which had upgraded their information security management systems (ISMS). The two departments that have been awarded the BS7799: 2002 (2) certification are: the Internal Debt Management Department (IDMD) and the Department of External Investment and Operations (DEIO). The official accredited certification was issued by CIS-Certification, Gmbh, (Austria), says a release.
