Plea to Chief Minister for AIIMS status

KOZHIKODE: The Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan seeking his help to obtain the status of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the Kozhikode medical college.

The delegation led by CCCI president C.E. Chakkunni and youth wing general secretary Shabeer Cheruvadi also gave a memorandum to Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy making out a strong case for conferring the AIIIMS status on the medical college in Kozhikode.
