HYDERABAD : Chandigarh defeated Kerala 12-1 to move into the boys' semifinals of the 24th junior National softball championship.

The results (superleague): Boys: M.P. bt Rajasthan 9-4; Punjab bt Manipur 10-0; Chandigarh bt Kerala 12-1; Orissa bt AP 3-2; Punjab bt Rajasthan 9-1; M.P. bt Manipur 10-0; Chandigarh bt Orissa 9-2.

Girls: Kerala bt Chattisgarh 7-5; M.P. bt Rajasthan 15-5; Delhi bt Manipur 18-7; Punjab bt Chandigarh 15-6; Rajasthan bt Chattisgarh 8-7; M.P. bt Kerala 10-6.
