Arrest warrant against hospital superintendent

Thrissur: The Thrissur Consumer Court on Thursday issued a warrant for the arrest of the Thrissur Government medical college hospital superintendent for not having appeared on court despite being given a summons.

The superintendent was asked to give evidence and furnish relevant documents on a complaint filed by Sadasivan, of Ollur, and his son Ajeesh against a private hospital.

Ajeesh was treated at the Government medical college hospital after he was discharged from the private hospital.

The arrest warrant was issued by a panel, including president P.N. Bhaskaran Thampan and senior judicial member M.K. Abdulla Sona of the court.
