NAMAKKAL: The State Lorry Owners' Federation - Tamil Nadu appealed to the lorry owners in the State to participate in the nation-wide strike called by the All India Motor Transport Congress. The strike will be from 6 a.m. on June 13 to 6 a.m. on June 14 to protest against the hike inpetrol and diesel prices.
Cooperation
In a release, president of the federation, P. Sengodan, said the federation had extended its support to the strike and asked all the lorry owners in the State not to operate vehicles during the strike. He also sought public cooperation.
