CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government has appointed 11 Special Government Pleaders and 12 Additional Government Pleaders to the Madras High Court. They shall represent the Government in civil and writ matters here and the Bench in Madurai. While Haja Naziruddin and R. Subbiah have been made the new Special Government Pleaders for Taxes, the Senior Central Government Standing Counsel, P. Wilson, has been appointed Special Government Pleader for Writs. The other SGPs are R. Thirugnanam, Janaki Ramlu, Jesssi Jeevapriya, V. Ravi, K. Elango, Titus Jesudoss, T. Chandrasekaran and M. Sekar.
Additional pleaders
The new Additional Government Pleaders are A.P. Suryaprakasam, K. Balu, M. Dandapani, A. Arumugam, V. Srikanth, C. Kalaichelvan, K. Balasubramanian, G. Sankaran, M. Kribanandam, D. Geetha, R.K. Kalpana and K. Baskaran.
