Story writing competition

TIRUPUR: In an effort to revive the tradition of story telling and to encourage story writing among younger generation, the Tirupur-based literary circle, Kanavu, is organising a story writing competition for children.

Subrabharathi Manian, writer, in a release here has said that Rs. 5,000 will be given to the best stories. The stories can be on any topic and should not exceed five pages.

Students up to Plus Two can send their contributions to Subrabharathi Manian, 8/2635, Pandian Nagar, Tirupur-641602 on or before August 1, the release said.
