Bajaj Allianz fete

KOZHIKODE: The Calicut Area office of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited celebrated its victory day on Saturday.

H. Venkatesh, City Police Commissioner, inaugurated the celebrations held at Calicut Towers here. Former Minister M.K. Muneer released the inaugural issue of the Calicut Area in-house magazine, `Blossom,' at the function by handing over a copy to C.J. Robin, former Mayor, Kozhikode.

K. Snehalatha, regional operations officer, who won the excellence award, was honoured on the occasion. N.S. Govindakumar, senior area manager, and Binand R.B, deputy area manager, spoke. The Calicut Area office, which began operations in 2004 February, registered a business of 16,100 policies and Rs.53 crores during 2005-06. From Palakkad to Kasaragod, the company has nearly 30 offices, Mr. Govindakumar said.
