CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Telangana. Isolated rainfall occurred over interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala and Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are: Mangalore 2 and Shirali, Karwar, Jamakhandi (Bagalkote dt.), Yerwad (Belgaum dt.) and Madikeri 1 each.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over coastal Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and interior Karnataka.
